The Shenandoah Valley is a wonderful place to raise a family, begin a career or settle into an active retirement. I  moved here in 1976 when major growth was just beginning. Since then there have been tremendous advances in education, business and cultural opportunities all of which continue to make this a thriving community today. 

On a personal note, I'm married and we are the parents of one son who is married and lives in Charlotte, NC. Outside of work, I have helped with fundraisers for the Harrisonburg Rockingham Free Clinic and the MS Society . I have served on the Board of Directors of the Harrisonburg Rockingham Boys and Girls Club and continue to support this wonderful organization. My husband and I are longtime supporters of the 9/11 Memorial Fund, The Ellis Island Foundation, Musicorps and Project Healing Waters.
